![]() I expected this news, and am happy about it. Terrible last album aside, I still really love that band, and they remain one of my favourite live acts. Really looking forward to the new album, and seeing them in November/December. Judging by the speed at which their Dublin gigs sold out, their popularity hasn't waned over here in the least. YAY!

Just a reminder that Paul hated Antics, which was pretty good really

Not to rehash (very) old arguments, but Interpol did a good thing in 2001/02 by getting lots of peers/bands to investigate an old sound with Turn on the Bright Lights. Then they immediately proceeded to suck harder than all the rest of those bands combined.

I actually thought that the LP on Capitol, first 3 so-so songs aside, is actually a really great record.
Its pretty funny that Pajo's in the band, but I welcome this news. |

David Pajo will eventually play in every band everywhere.

Did you guys listen to the Julian Plenti album? Any good? I never got around to listening to it other than one mp3 that was posted last year. I'm assuming you hate it, Paul. Right?
The first Interpol album was fire. I never really cared for the others.... |

I only ever heard the giveaway mp3. My interest was already low, but that pretty much killed it.

I pretty profoundly disliked the Julian Plenti album based on the lyrical content, but I thought he had some pretty good musical ideas.
I still have hopes for Interpol though, welcome back home to them. |

Whoa, they've got a song called "Always Maloze"!
Or near enough.
